What You’ll Do:
Scoop & Serve: Provide generous, picture-perfect scoops and drinks with a smile, check out customers at the till.Engage with Customers: Greet guests warmly, make recommendations, and create a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Answer lots of questions.Keep it Moving: Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially on busy days.Make Waffles & Waffle Cones: Prepare fresh, golden-brown waffles and cones for our customers.Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the shop, equipment, and workstations spotless and help with dishes.Stock & Prep: Restock toppings, cones, and supplies to keep everything running smoothly.Be a Team Player: Support your coworkers and help create a positive work environment.
What We’re Looking For:

✅ Ability to work evenings, weekends, and busy summer days.
✅ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with long lines.
✅ Reliability—we need scoopers who show up on time and ready to work.
✅ Food service experience is a plus but not required—we’ll train you! A positive attitude, and strong work ethic are what we care about.
✅ Passion for ice cream, plant-based treats, and making people happy - you don’t need to be vegan, we love all types of eaters!
✅ You are ok with working in a loud environment - lots of blending and machines at work!
✅ You can stand for long periods of time
✅ Must be able to lift 40 pounds

Job Type: Full-time Permanent (30-40 hours, busy/slow season) or Seasonal Part time (17-24 hours)
Year-Round Position & season available!
Pay: $19.10 per hour, shared tips, access to health benefits + sweet perks
Expected start date: April/May
We are looking for someone to become a permanent, full time employee, as well as two seasonal employees - one part-time employee for day time shifts, and one part time employee who can work early mornings (around 5:30am-9am)
Seasonal employees: May - end of August
About Churned
At Churned, we believe ice cream should be more than just a treat—it should be an experience. We make delicious, plant-based ice cream from scratch and pair it with house-made baked goods like waffles, cookies, and more. We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented team member who’s excited to craft our signature flavours and treats!
What You’ll Do:
Make Ice Cream: Prepare and churn plant-based ice cream in small batches, ensuring consistency and top quality.
Develop Flavours: Assist in experimenting with new, exciting flavours and textures.
Bake Treats & Mix-Ins: Prepare waffle cones, cookies, and other baked goods, as well as mix-ins like crumbles, swirls, and sauces that go into our ice cream.
Ingredient Prep & Stocking: Measure, mix, and store ingredients properly to maintain freshness.
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the kitchen, equipment, and workstations spotless and follow food safety guidelines. Lots of dishes.
Work Efficiently: Manage prep schedules to ensure fresh product availability.
Be a Team Player: You’ll be cross-trained to assist with scooping, customer service, and other front-of-house duties when needed!
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Attention to detail – precision is key when making ice cream and baked goods.
✅ Ability to work independently – you’ll often be working in the kitchen solo or with minimal supervision.
✅ Comfortable in a fast-paced and warm environment – we are a busy shop in the summer!
✅ Food service or professional baking experience is preferred - but we will also train for the right person!
✅ Food Safety & Hygiene Certification is an asset but can be obtained after hiring.
✅ Passion for ice cream, baking, and plant-based desserts!
✅ You are ok with working in a loud environment - lots of blending and machines at work!
✅ You can stand for long periods of time
✅ Must be able to lift 40 pounds
